Music

The music department undertakes the mission of raising individuals with rich musical portfolios who can bring melodies to life with their instruments and share them with their environment.

In our school, every student graduates by playing at least one instrument. By revealing the creativity within students through movement, rhythm and music, it is aimed to raise self-confident, creative individuals with improved auditory and verbal skills, who can express themselves through music.

Our students have environments where they can freely experience rhythm and movement impulse.

Our music classrooms consist of materials that arouse curiosity in which they can feel comfortable, and our lessons take place with the active participation of our students. Kindermusik, which reflects the universal understanding of music in kindergarten, solfege infrastructure and compulsory ukelele lessons in the 1st and 2nd grades in primary school, and a compulsory instrument program from the 3rd grade are implemented.

Not every student can change the instrument they choose until they graduate from high school and specialize in that field. At the end of the year, all instruments come together and make orchestral presentations. In our school, a composer is introduced every month and students are made to listen to the works of that composer during break times. The program is actively supported by band, choir, polyphonic music works, competitions and shows.
